  What are the solutions to the equations sin^-1 x = 1/sin x, cos^-1 x = 1/cos x? Since sin^-2 x = 1/sin^2 x, x can be anything not in pi.Z. Since cos^-2 x = 1/cos^2 x? x can be anything not in pi(Z + 1/2).

mathematica
I have an expression in x and y (an output line). I have values of x and y for which I need to evaluate the expression. How do I input the values and command mathematica to evaluate the expression?

JSH: My Twin Peaks Gap equations predict Cleavage effect
Cleavage theoryI interviewed a young anthropologist working with women in Mali, in a country in Africa where women go around with bare breasts. They're always feeding their babies. And when she told them that in our culture men are fascinated with breasts there was an instant of shock. The women burst out laughing. They laughed so hard, they fell on the floor. They... more »

EXAMPLES OF THE USE OF "HALF SQUARED " VALUES IN MATHEMATICS-- HOPE RESEARCH
We did already show how these values are part of a concordant series, BUT here we study all numbers that are not divisible by 2 or 3, and run on the edge of 19 divergence, at 1:6 These include Prime numbers. All values are divisible by 6 . 0.5 is a culled value HORIZONTAL GAPS 5^2/2=12.5------------7^2/2=24 .5 gap is 12... more »

What is the meaning of life for the atheist
...Cl.Massé, thanks! Midges fly at about 3m above the ground, rest in trees, so are more likely to bite the tall than the shorter fellow. Short, fat persons, however, get bitten almost as much, because they offer larger feeding- grounds. Biologically speaking, the definition of an accountant or, indeed, the... more »

Intersection of Complex Submanifolds (Incl. Self-Int.) is positive
Hi, everyone: This is a followup from a while back. W.Dale Hall was pretty helpful. If I remember well, he had suggested I use the preferred orientation on the submanifolds (i.e., given a complex basis {w_1,..,w_n}, we get a real basis {w_1,iw_1,..,w_n,iw_n } . The structure group for these "induced" bases is Gl(n,R)^+ , which shows... more »

eigenvalues of a matrix
Let x=(x_1,x_2,x_3), y=(y_1,y_2,y_2) be two orthonormal vector. What are the all eigenvalues of the 3x3 matrix x^T y, where x^T denotes transposed row.

product of sin (pi*k/x) where k is a real constant
The gamma function gives product of f(x)=x; in document FractionalOperator.pdf (downloadable from site [link]) I've published a document about product of function f(x)=sin(piGreek*k/x) where k is a real constant and x is in the set of real numbers; moreover I've defined a function that is discontinuous only on prime numbers.... more »

Generating equalities...
  The idea is quite simple , for squares and other powers we may build such things. I here , just want considering second degree forms. x(n)^2 + y(n)^2 = z(n)^2 with a seed {x0,y0,z0} the following linear relations work: x(n+1) = x(n) +2y(n) +2z(n) y(n+1) = 2x(n)+y(n) +2z(n) z(n+1) = 2x(n)+2y(n)+3z(n) .... more »
