Subject: ioZip Click Of Death Settlement
I had an external then internal iomega Zip drive on my 1995 Gateway. I
believe I bought both from Gateway, but I know for sur ethe internal
one, I did. I sold the external, but then got a use done for another
machine.  After I got a CD burner in 1999, I used the ioZip less and
less.  ca 2006 it started making clicking sounds, but it wasn't until
a year or two later that I discovered what was going on. So, I had
stopped usingit by the time the problem happened. Now I read there is
a settlement. Ironically, I used to work for a well known quasifederal
agency for which Bernoulli drives were a prime data security tool.  I
am only remembering this because now I am experiencing flaws in
multigigabyte USB fobs and the horror is unsteeling me.
